Welcome to the Soaring Web Ring home page! This is the place to join the Soaring Web Ring. Who can join the Soaring WebRing:The Soaring WebRing is for all web sites which are interested in Soaring in full scale gliders. Club sites, commercial sites, personal sites, picture archives, associations, International sites, glider sites, FBO's, and any soaring related site is welcome to join. We will drop any site which isn't reliable and/or contains material not suited for the general population (porn). Soaring WebRing Charter:"The Soaring WebRing exists to help Web users easily find and move between web sites which cover soaring in full scale gliders. All aspects of soaring are included in this WebRing." While I anticipate that most sites will be club and personal sites covering general soaring, specialized sites that cover homebuilts, motorgliders, and kit glider sites are also welcome. Note: The updated web ring system uses some new and improved HTML. The samples below are older and not as current. I'll leave them hear for now, so they can be used as examples. This is a sample HTMLfragment for the Soaring WebRing. Using this as a starting point allows you to simply cut and paste a bit of HTML code onto your page. Members can also see what HTML code they should be using by going to the Edit Site Information page. To use this, you need to edit the HTML code, replacing the soarwest info with your name and E-Mail address. You also need to replace the soaring ID with your sites ID, as sent to you when you were added to the Queue. Look for "ID=1" in the code below and use your ID number instead. The "ring=soaring" portion specifies which WebRing you are linking to. <p align="center"><!-- Begin HTML comment This is an example HTML

This example shows the above code fragment placed in a table with images on either side. I have several ready to use images you can select from, or be creative and make your own. Send good looking examples to me and I'll post them here for others to use. To use this example, view the source for this page and "Copy" between the <Table> and the </Table>, and paste it into your document. Then change the name and ID=# to your name and ID #.
Here are a few images you can use. Feel free to download them to your site.
